Strong to isolated severe storms possible tonight near and along the State line.
Evening storms are likely near and along the FL-GA line with some potentially becoming strong to isolated severe. Locally heavy rainfall, hail, damaging wind and isolated tornadoes will be possible through late tonight. Scattered showers with isolated storms will continue Saturday with locally heavy rainfall possible from Waycross, GA (Ware County) and west to I-75. Showers and storms are expected Sunday although coverage will be limited and lighter compared to Saturday.

Tonight: Strong to isolated severe storms possible for SE GA near and along the FL/GA line. Storms will weaken as they move south toward I-10. Best chances for storm coverage will be from around 7 p.m. through 1 a.m.
Saturday: Soaking storms will start before sunrise for SE GA, generally north of Waycross, and then spread south around sunrise. Heavier storms, some strong to severe will move across SE GA around noon through around 3 p.m. The scattered activity will weaken and move south as it dissipates across NE FL. A warm start with lows in the 70s. Afternoon highs in the 80s for SE GA, 80s to low 90s for NE FL. Rain chances SE GA, 80 percent, NE FL 30 percent.
Sunday: Scattered showers with storms for NE FL and SE GA, 70 percent. Rain chances will start late Saturday night through early Sunday with most clearing the area around sunrise. Scattered showers with storms will be possible from Highway 301 to the Beaches through early evening, 30 percent. Another warm morning with lows in the 70s, afternoon highs in the 80s.
Looking ahead: A little cooler to start the week following the cold front. Afternoon highs will rebound through the week.
